  • Bus (Jet 727): The Stagecoach Jet 727 runs 24/7 every 15-20 minutes to Aberdeen Union Square (Train & Bus Station). It features leather seats, USB charging, and luggage racks. Journey time: 30 minutes.
  • Train: The nearest station is Dyce. It is a short 5-10 minute taxi ride or bus trip (Service 80) from the terminal. Note: Walking to Dyce station is not recommended as it involves crossing busy roads.
  • Car: Accessible via the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road. The AWPR (Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route) has significantly reduced journey times from the south.
  • Taxi: Official airport taxis are located directly outside the terminal front.

Parking Information

  • Express Drop Off: Located right outside the terminal. Warning: As of February 2026, the charge has increased to £7 for 15 minutes.
  • Free Drop Off (Long Stay): You can drop off for FREE (up to 30 mins) in the Long Stay Car Park, which is a short shuttle bus ride or 5-10 minute walk from the terminal.
  • Short Stay: Located within a multi-storey car park just a 2-minute walk from the terminal.
  • Priority Parking: Located on the ground floor of the short stay car park, closest to the terminal.

Tips for Travelers

  • The “Free” Drop-Off Hack: Avoid the steep £7 fee by using the Long Stay Car Park for free (30 mins). If you have light luggage, it’s a manageable walk to the terminal, or take the free shuttle.
  • Eat Landside: If you are on a budget, grab a coffee and sausage roll at Greggs in the check-in hall before you go through security.
  • Lounge Access: The Northern Lights Lounge is excellent and often quieter than the main departure hall. Pre-booking is cheaper than paying at the door.
  • Bus Ticket: You can buy a ticket for the Jet 727 bus using contactless payment on board or via the Stagecoach app.
