- KLM Connection: Flying KLM from Cardiff is often cheaper and faster than driving to Heathrow and paying for parking there.

It has a direct Metro link to Newcastle city centre (under 25 minutes). The station is a short, covered walk from the terminal, making it the most efficient public transport option.
It's a single, compact terminal with a logical flow. The walk from check-in to the furthest gate is rarely more than 10-15 minutes.
The security area during the early morning peak (flights to the Canaries, Spain, etc.). Arriving 2.5 hours before these flights is still recommended despite generally good flow.
Use the free "Cell Phone" waiting zone just off the airport road. It allows you to wait for free until your passenger is curbside, avoiding expensive forecourt charges.
